A new book on Warren Beatty claims the womanizing movie star slept with nearly 13,000 women! Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America is being released this week and author Peter Biskind calculates 'using simple arithmetic'  that the actor has bedded "12,775 women, give or take, a figure that does not include daytime quickies, drive-bys, casual gropings, stolen kisses and so on."

Warren Beatty has denied the figure is anywhere close to true. His attorney warned that the book was not an authorized biography and publications should be careful of publishing as fact anything contained within it.

"Mr. Biskind's tedious and boring book on Mr. Beatty was not authorized by Mr. Beatty and should not be published as an authorized biography," according to the attorney. "It contains many false assertions and purportedly quotes Mr. Beatty as saying things he never said. Other media should not repeat things from the book on the assumption that they are true or that the book is an authorized biography."

We decided to use some of our own arithmetic. We take as 14 the age Beatty became sexually active (We have no idea when he did but just play along). He's now 72. That would mean that over 58 years he would have bedded 224 different women in a year,  18 different women a month, or a new woman every 4.3 days. Not allowing time off for sickness or marriage. Sounds incredibly dubious to us.
