A porn star caused a flood of calls to police in Detroit after posting a clip on a number of video sharing sites saying she had aids and had infected over 500 men.

Wearing a scarf over her face the porn star said "Your husband is going to have Aids. You're all going to die." Police were forced to investigate after hundreds of callers rang in whilst HIV tests more than doubled in Detroit on the same day.

Police traced the video to Jackie Braxton, 23, of Detroit. An amateur porn star (Stage name FAME) who is married and has a five year old daughter. Braxton admitted the hoax immediately saying she had created the video to raise awareness of aids.

‘All of it was false,’ she now admits. ‘I don't have Aids. I didn't infect anybody.’

Police forced her to have an AIDS test which came back clear. ‘We are 100 per cent positive it was a hoax,’ said Deputy Chief James Tolbert.

People failed to see the funny side but Braxton later blogged about the incident adding insult to injury:

"You dumb a** people, I pulled an old fashioned “Gotcha, b**ch” ... Think I give a f***? Ask the picture. Shame on you guys for falling for the dumb s**t smh"

She also posted a picture giving the finger. Charming.
